The Eucalyptus tree has many uses which has made them economically important trees. Due to their fast growth, the foremost benefit of these tress is the wood. They can be chopped off at the root and grown back again. They provide many desirable characteristics for use as ornament, timber, firewood and pulpwood. There are more than seven hundred species of Eucalyptus, mostly native to Australia, with a very small number found in adjacent parts of New Guinea and Indonesia.
